The sectional garage doors consist of specially designed sealing panels, which are interconnected by fixed intermediate hinges. During operation, the door moves on uniquely designed safety guides, aided by heavy-duty springs, vertically saving space in front of and behind your opening. Due to advanced motion and weight balancing technology, the door operates silently and ensures its safe functionality.
Moreover, industrial garage doors provide finger protection. Thanks to the special shape of their sections and the internally concealed wire cables within side casings, finger trapping is prevented. For additional safety, a pressure sensor is installed on the bottom side of the door, which, in case of danger, stops the movement and changes direction.

An exclusive optional technology of industrial doors is the THERMOFRAME, providing effective thermal insulation between the frame and the wall. In industries where temperature stability is crucial, special seals are additionally installed around the frame to seal the door when closed. Overview of steel panels with polyurethane

The steel panels consist of double hot-dip galvanized sheet metal, filled with polyurethane foam in between, providing impeccable stability and insulation. Externally, a durable primer is applied, protecting the door from adverse conditions and rust.
SURFACE STUCCO
The durable, embossed stucco surface gives your door a unique, uniform texture that camouflages minor scratches, dents, or dirt marks, making them less visible. This premium surface is available in two different panel thicknesses: the economical 42mm SPU F42 STUCCO panel and the thermal-insulating 67mm SPU67 THERMO STUCCO panel.
The MICROGRAIN surface

The panels are available in two thicknesses: : the highly durable 42mm SPU F42 MICROGRAIN and the superior thermal-insulating 67mm SPU67 THERMO MICROGRAIN with thermally separated panels.
Color options
Industrial sectional doors with double-walled steel panels are available in 10 basic RAL colors. The hot-dip galvanized material and high-quality double-sided polyester primer make these German doors the most rust-resistant, offering a uniform appearance for a long time.
Internally, regardless of their external color, the doors feature a gray-white shade of RAL 9002.

GLASS ALUMINUM DOORS WITH STEEL PANEL SKIRT
to the combination of the durable steel panel skirt and the large DURATEC glass panes, the door is exceptionally stable, durable, and impressive.
It is available in three categories: the standard 42 mm profile with double glazing APU F42, the thermal panel with double glazing 42 mm APU F42 THERMO, and the top-of-the-line 67 mm thermally separated glazing profile with triple glazing APU67 THERMO.
The door’s skirt, or bottom section, consists of a 750mm high steel panel, with the option of either a stucco or micrograin surface finish.
GLASS ALUMINUM DOORS
HÖRMANN aluminum doors consist of special DURATEC glass surrounded by a discreet frame and aluminum skirt, providing you with exceptional stability and security.
Depending on your space requirements, you can choose the degree of thermal insulation from three profiles: the standard 42 mm profile with double glazing ALR F42, the thermal panel with double glazing 42 mm ALR F42 THERMO, and the top-of-the-line thermally separated glazing profile 67mm with triple glazing ALR67 THERMO.
The bottom section of the door in the standard version is delivered with polyurethane )filling and an aluminum cover on both sides with a textured stucco surface otherwise, the door is available entirely made of glass panel.

Worldwide innovation is the construction of a personnel door with
thermal insulation between the joints and an installation depth of 42mm or 67mm.

The WA300 S4 230V mechanism, with alternating current, transfers the door’s motion through the axle. It is ideal for up to 150 cycles of operation daily, featuring smooth start and stop for quiet and safe movement. Power consumption is 75% lower compared to other motors. It easily and quickly disengages from the mechanism.
Motion Mechanism AXLE WA 400/WA 500 FU
Choose the WA400 direct axle drive mechanism with manual chain operation, which is mounted laterally to the door, or the WA500 FU central mounting drive mechanism and save space. Additionally, benefit from quiet operation, fast movement, and guaranteed quality.
Chain Drive Mechanism IT0 400 and IT0 500 FU

Safety Photocells
Your safety photocells ensure the safe operation of your industrial sectional door. In case of obstacles or individuals detected during the door’s movement, they are promptly recognized, and the door reverses its direction. This significantly reduces the risk of damage or injury.
Advanced Safety Photocell (Exclusively by Hörmann)
The sensors are specially positioned at both ends of the sectional door, monitoring the bottom side of the door throughout its operation During closing, thanks to the movable arm of the photocell, any potential damage to it is prevented, allowing the door to close undisturbed. In addition to providing maximum safety, the photocells offer faster door movement and reduced control and maintenance costs.
Photogrid
The Hörmann photogrids are integrated into the frame and wirelessly detect the presence of individuals or obstacles. They are available in two categories: the HLG with a detection height of 500mm and the ELG, which covers your entire opening up to 500mm. This ensures complete prevention of damage or injuries, provides faster and safer movement, and reduces control and maintenance costs.
