Technical characteristics
Fire-resistant doors are certified according to the new European standard EN 1634-1, and the certification tests of the doors were conducted by C.S.I, a body recognized by ESYD for conducting tests on fire safety doors. The doors are classified into 60 and 120 minutes of fire resistance, and upon request, 30 and 90 minutes, respectively. They are also classified into fixed direction and reversible, where the customer does not need to specify the direction. The doors come in single-leaf and double-leaf versions and can be painted in any color upon request.
Our company maintains a significant stock of fire-resistant doors in standard dimensions in RAL 7035 light grey color. Upon request, doors can be ordered in RAL colors with wood imitation film or custom designs and photographic printing.
Fire-resistant doors are constructed from galvanized sheet metal, with the thickness of the door leaf ranging from 0.8mm to 1.2mm depending on the manufacturer and the type of door. The frame (casing) is of “Z” type, with thickness ranging from 1.00mm to 2.00mm. The core of the door leaf is filled with rock wool.
The doors are equipped with 2 welded hinges (not welded) – one of which has a bearing for vertical adjustment, and the other has a spring for reset adjustment (mandatory for fire-resistant doors).
The doors are delivered with a black plastic handle (without cylinder), thermosetting sealing gasket, and of course, fire resistance certificates.
The double-leaf doors feature a primary and secondary leaf with a priority mechanism and the ability to lock the secondary leaf. Fire-resistant doors are equipped with a metal nameplate on top displaying the door’s identity.
Fire-resistant doors can have fire-resistant glass upon request.
The windows can be circular (round) with a diameter of 300 or 400, or rectangular with dimensions of 250×400 or 300×400.

Special fire-resistant doors
Apart from special fire-resistant doors that involve custom dimensions, design, or color, there are also sliding fire-resistant doors.
Sliding fire-resistant doors provide fire protection and are smoke-tight. They can be manufactured as single-leaf, double-leaf, or telescopic configurations.
Soundproof doors
Fire-resistant doors can also be highly soundproof. Thus, a door can simultaneously provide fire protection and soundproofing properties. Soundproof doors are installed in spaces where sound control is crucial, such as cinemas, recording studios, or in dividing spaces between offices and laboratories. These doors are specialized and have soundproofing capabilities ranging from 30 to 47 dB, accompanied by corresponding certifications.
To achieve the soundproofing specified by the manufacturer, special seals should be installed and properly sealed underneath.

General-purpose metal doors
Metal doors have a wide range of applications, such as warehouses, offices, showrooms, shops, and homes, due to their high aesthetic appeal, durability, and most importantly, their affordable price.
They are constructed in the same manner as fire-resistant doors, except their core is not filled with rock wool but with a honeycomb structure. They are available as single-leaf and double-leaf doors and can be equipped with the same accessories as fire-resistant doors.
They can also feature ventilation holes where required.
