Folding security grilles LOWE DOORS

The rapid increase in robberies and burglaries necessitates more than ever the need to secure all areas that can be easily broken into, such as frames, windows, basements, warehouse doors, main entrances, and more. Our company offers two security solutions, including security shutters specifically designed for homes and folding security grilles.

General characteristics

With folding railings, security is ensured even with open windows and balcony doors. They are the ideal solution for safety in homes, stores, and other spaces with increased security needs where roller shutters cannot be installed. A major advantage of folding railings is their ability to be concealed (e.g., behind curtains), to fold up, and to rotate.

Easy operation and collection thanks to our excellent construction where the rollers are placed below, making movement easier and eliminating any risk of hanging. Includes a foldable guide for safe passage and effortless cleaning, along with support in the upright position with a hook.

Side lock, Italian-made by Prefer, with a simple or painted security key that locks by raising and lowering a solid blade into 4 solid bars. Even if the lock is destroyed, it does not allow the violation of the ironwork because the blade remains lowered, so every aspiring intruder has failed.

Rotation mechanism and coloring

The folding safety rails by Lowedoors occupy 19% of the total opening in the case of the HEAVY profile and 17% of the total opening in the case of the LIGHT profile. There is the possibility of installing a 90^° or 180^° rotation mechanism to avoid obstruction of visibility.

The folding structures are painted with electrostatic powder coating in more than 60 RAL colors in glossy finish, 10 matte finish colors, and 10 durable RAL colors by Ammos, at no extra charge. The colors are from AKZO NOBEL.

LIGHT

Folding safety steel railings, type LIGHT. Galvanized electrostatic powder coating in a choice of RAL colors, with bottom rolling rollers. Constructed from galvanized steel "P" uprights with a thickness of 1.20mm, measuring 1.5m x 1.4m, and 16 crossed blade scissors of 2.5mm thickness and 1.4cm width. The lock is recessed, locking internally at 4 points. There is also the possibility of 180o rotation.

STRONG

Folding safety steel railings, type STRONG. Galvanized electrostatic powder coating in a color of choice, with bottom rolling rollers. Constructed from galvanized steel "P" uprights with a thickness of 2.00mm and a width of 1.5m x 1.50m, and 16 crossed blade scissors made of 4.00mm thick and 1.4cm wide blade, making it very difficult to cut. The lock is recessed, locking internally at 4 points, and can also be fitted with a painted key security lock. There is also the possibility of 180o rotation.

HEAVY

Folding safety steel railings, type HEAVY. Galvanized electrostatic powder coating in a color of choice, with bottom rolling rollers. Constructed from galvanized steel hollow sections (closed section uprights) with a thickness of 1.5mm and a width of 2.00m x 1.40m, and 16 crossed blade scissors made of 4.20mm thick and 2.00cm wide blade, making it very difficult to cut. The lock is recessed, locking internally at 4 points, and can also be fitted with a painted key security lock. There is also the possibility of 180o rotation. The HEAVY construction can also be made of aluminum.

Application Fields

The folding safety railings by Lowedoors can be installed in any opening the customer wishes to protect. They can be placed on windows, balcony doors, simple or armored doors, indoor spaces creating safe rooms, warehouses, and even on elevators. The folding safety railings can be installed inside the structural opening or externally with a perimeter frame of reinforced iron construction.

Installation of folding railings

The installation of folding safety railings is carried out by highly trained and specialized teams of the company. The installation includes perimeter drilling and screwing with certified BULDEX screws (company) of 18cm in 3-4 points on all four sides of the frames of the folding safety railings. In case of installation on brick, chemical plugs are used. We recommend to our customers to seal the holes of the plugs and apply a 2-component chemical on the caps to prevent tampering by burglars.

Maintenance of folding railings

Folding safety railings do not require special maintenance. What they need is to be used. Folding railings should not remain idle, and the more frequently they are used, the easier they open and operate. Once a year, the crossed blades and joints should be lubricated, and the rollers should be cleaned from dust and hair that accumulates over time. Lubrication is done with anti-corrosive lubricant spray with a nozzle for easy access to the joints and the crossed blades. Grease or spray with grease elements should be avoided. Our company can provide customers with anti-corrosive spray.
